Tunnel Light Marathon

The Tunnel Light Marathon runs point-to-point from the Hyak Sno-Park Trailhead near Snoqualmie Pass to the Garcia Trailhead in North Bend, Washington, on the historic John Wayne Pioneer Trail rail bed. Runners pass through the roughly 2.3-mile Snoqualmie Tunnel after the halfway point; the tunnel is unlit, so headlamps are required. Storm damage to the original course means the 2026 race follows a permitted detour with about 1,000 feet of net downhill, less than the race's usual net drop of around 2,000 feet. The course is USATF-certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier. It is one of three races the organizer runs on the same corridor each year, alongside the Light at the End of the Tunnel Marathon in June and the Tunnel Vision Marathon in August.
