Tidewater Strider Marathon (Spring Edition)

The Tidewater Strider Marathon and Half Marathon Spring Edition runs each April on the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail in Chesapeake, Virginia, starting and finishing near mile post 4 of the trail. The marathon covers two out-and-back loops of the flat, USATF-certified 6.55-mile trail; the half marathon covers one loop. Find My Marathon ranks it the 2nd-fastest marathon course in Virginia and 68th-fastest nationally. It is organized by the Tidewater Striders, a Hampton Roads running club, on the same trail as the club's separate December Dismal Swamp Marathon weekend.
