Race Overview

Run Oak Island is a race weekend on Oak Island, North Carolina, held over Presidents Day weekend in February. The marathon runs the oceanfront road east to the Oak Island Lighthouse, then heads west and crosses the intracoastal bridge near mile 23 before a flat finish. A competitive East half marathon and a walker-friendly West half marathon run the same morning, with a 10K, 5K and 1 mile the next day.
