Race Overview
The Napoli City Half Marathon starts and finishes on Viale Kennedy outside the Mostra d'Oltremare in the Fuorigrotta district of Naples, Italy. The flat, 21.097-kilometer course follows the Lungomare waterfront past Castel dell'Ovo, loops through Piazza Municipio and the historic center, then retraces the waterfront back to the finish. First run in 2014 with about 1,200 participants, the race has grown into one of Italy's largest half marathons, drawing over 10,000 finishers from 117 countries in 2026. It holds Italy's national half marathon records for both men (59:01, Yeman Crippa, 2026) and women (1:08:27, Sofiia Yaremchuk, equaling the standing record here in 2024).
