Race Overview
The Monterrey Marathon is a 42.195-kilometer road race held each December in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The course starts and finishes at Parque Fundidora, with the start line on the straightaway facing the Cintermex convention center, and the route runs through Monterrey and neighboring San Pedro Garza Garcia. The race traces back to the Maraton Nova Monterrey of the 1980s and took on Powerade title sponsorship in 2006; the 2025 running was its 19th edition under that name, with about 8,300 finishers. It is AIMS- and World Athletics-certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
