Mitja Marató Internacional Vila de Santa Pola

The Mitja Marató Internacional Vila de Santa Pola is a half marathon held each January in Santa Pola, a fishing and beach town on the Costa Blanca in Alicante province, Spain. Organized by the Club de Atletismo Santa Pola since the early 1990s, the race carries a World Athletics Label and draws a large international elite and mass-participation field, with about 6,400 runners entered in the 2025 edition. The flat, fast course starts and finishes near the harbor on Avenida Pérez Ojeda and loops along the coast past Gran Playa and Playa de Levante. A companion 10K runs on the Saturday evening before the half marathon's Sunday morning start.
