The Longford Marathon offers a flat and scenic 42.195 km course through Ireland's picturesque midlands, making it ideal for runners aiming for personal bests. Starting and finishing on Main Street near the Longford Arms Hotel, the route winds through the counties of Longford, Roscommon, and Leitrim, showcasing the region's natural beauty. Known as "The Friendly Marathon in the Heart of Ireland," this event features excellent support, including regular aid stations every 3 miles, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
