Race Overview
The Jackson Hole Marathon starts at the historic elk antler arch on Jackson Town Square, passes the National Elk Refuge, and follows the community pathway system around the South Park Loop before crossing the Snake River near mile 17. The USATF-certified, Boston-qualifying course finishes at the elk antler arch in Teton Village at the base of the Tetons, run almost entirely above 6,000 feet elevation. The same race weekend includes the Hole Half Marathon and Quarter Marathon, ending with a community Oktoberfest celebration in Teton Village. Jackson sits near the Bridger-Teton National Forest and Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
