Race Overview
The IPA Half Marathon starts and finishes at RiverWalk Brewing Co. in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and shares its race day with a companion 5K. The event is USATF certified and sanctioned for both distances. The half-marathon distance was added in 2024; the race began as a 5K-only event held going back to at least 2018 (per RunSignup's own results archive, which also shows 2020 and 2021 as virtual-only editions).
