Race Overview
The Göteborgsvarvet, or Gothenburg Half Marathon, is the world's largest annual half marathon, starting and finishing at the Slottsskogsvallen stadium. Runners get to experience a flat course with about 85 meters of elevation gain, passing through scenic spots like Slottsskogen park, the Göta Älv river, and along Älvstranden waterfront. The route also offers the unique experience of running over two bridges with stunning views of the archipelago and city harbor.
