Race Overview
The Florida Marathon is held in February in Melbourne, on Florida's Space Coast, with a half marathon, 10K and 5K on the same morning. The marathon starts near Front Street Park, crosses the Melbourne Causeway, runs north along the Indian River waterfront to a turnaround at Ballard Park, and finishes back across the causeway. It is held a month after the Disney Marathon, advertises four 5-mile straightaways, and is listed by the organizers as a Boston qualifying race. There is a 7-hour time limit.
