Race Overview
The Des Moines St. Paddy's Half Marathon, 5K & Marathon Run/Walk is held each March in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, starting and finishing near E Locust Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. It is organized by All Community Events under the IowaRuns.com banner. The event offers marathon, half marathon, and 5K distances on paved roads, plus kids' races, with the marathon course covering the half marathon route twice as an out-and-back.
