Race Overview
The Breckenridge Road Marathon offers a unique running experience with events including a marathon, half-marathon, 10K, and 1-mile options. Starting at over 10,400 feet atop Boreas Pass, participants are treated to breathtaking views of mountain landscapes and seasonal foliage as they descend into the town of Breckenridge. The race concludes in the heart of Breckenridge, where finishers are welcomed with live music, food, and a vibrant, community-focused atmosphere. A pre-race pasta dinner and post-race party round out the weekend, making it more than just a run—it’s a full mountain experience.
