Race Overview
The Ballarat Marathon starts and finishes outside Ballarat Town Hall in the regional Victorian city of Ballarat. The course covers two laps of a 21.1 km bitumen loop through Ballarat Central and past Lake Wendouree, with a total elevation gain of 98 meters. It is certified by AIMS and World Athletics, and the race weekend also includes a half marathon, 10km, 5km and mile events.
