Race Overview
The 26.TRUE Marathon is an unsanctioned, untimed marathon and half marathon in Boston, run by the Dorchester-based PIONEERS Run Crew on the Saturday before the Boston Marathon. Runners start and finish at Malcolm X Park in Roxbury and cover a 13.1-mile loop through Franklin Park, Jamaica Plain, Nubian Square, Dorchester and Mattapan, once for the half and twice for the full. The course is open, with no road closures, so runners stay on sidewalks and obey traffic signals. Entry is capped, and about 400 runners took part in 2026.
